How we frame these comparisons
Job to be done
We look at the actual collector job: checklisting, pricing, scanning, buying, selling, or managing owned cards.
Evidence and limits
Each guide links its sources and check date. We do not claim a comparative scanner speed or accuracy benchmark.
Test before switching
Try a small sample, check exact printings and inspect export files before moving a whole collection.
Browser tools
Just researching a card?
Use typed searches, set totals and symbol lookup without installing an app. These web tools do not test the apps' camera scanners.
